Why We Built This Site
Colorado gives the public broad access to many court and government records, but San Miguel County uses a split records structure. The San Miguel Combined Courts and Combined Court Clerk handle District Court and County Court case records, including felony, family, civil, misdemeanor, traffic, and Probate Division of District Court matters. The County Clerk and Recorder handles recorded documents and marriage licenses, not court case files. The Sheriff's Office manages jail and criminal justice records, while Telluride and Mountain Village municipal courts handle local citations. We pull together the contact details, search portals, fee schedules, and request steps for each office into one place.

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
