The San Miguel Combined Courts are housed in the San Miguel County Courthouse at 305 W. Colorado Ave., P.O. Box 919, Telluride, CO 81435. San Miguel County Court System

San Miguel Marriage Divorce Probate
Marriage licenses are handled by the San Miguel County Clerk and Recorder. Applicants may start online or apply in person, but the process must be completed in person. San Miguel Courthouse History
The courthouse is a local record-access landmark, not just an address. The Colorado Judicial Branch says the original courthouse was built in 1885-1886 on the southeast corner of Main and Fir Streets. A fire destroyed that first building on March 9, 1887. Bricks were salvaged to rebuild the present courthouse, a two-story red brick building with a tower clock.
